Biography
Betsy Hassett is a fan of board sports, enjoying surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding and was the New Zealand high school snowboarding champion during her time at Avondale College.

Her debut for the Football Ferns was a memorable one – a 1-0 win over Argentina at the 2008 Peace Queen Cup in South Korea represented the first win for New Zealand over the South American champions.

Currently on scholarship at UC Berkeley, Hassett hopes to turn sign a professional contract in the USA or Europe once she has completed her studies.
